Mark HoppeMark Hoppe

Mark Hoppe, Managing Director

Mark has more than 17 years of experience working in the insurance industry. His career began as a broker in 1997 where he then moved from an assistant broker role to the position of NSW State Manager.
His career at Atradius began in Sydney in 2006 as the Head of Client Service, which saw him responsible for all the day to day client and broker issues. In 2011 he transitioned into the role of Head of New Business for Atradius Australia. In October 2012 Mark then moved to the USA to take the role of Executive Manager Global NAFTA.  He then became Managing Director for Oceania August 2014. Based in Sydney, Mark holds an MBA from the University of Technology.

Cees Boertje Cees Boertje

Cees Boertje, Finance & Control, Asia Pacific 

Cees Boertje started working for Atradius in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) as Director Control in 2000. Before moving to Sydney in 2004 he worked for 2 years in Cologne (Germany). Based in Sydney, Cees is responsible for Finance in Asia-Pacific and the India and Dubai region. In addition he is responsible for Controlling and Compliance in Australia and New Zealand. Cees completed a Master Degree in Business Economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is also a registered Chartered Accountant (RA) in the Netherlands. His working career started at one of the “Big Four”. Before moving to Atradius he worked 11 years for the dredging and construction company Royal Boskalis Westminster NV. For this company he worked in various roles in the Netherlands, Hong Kong and Singapore.

David Lloyd David Lloyd

David Lloyd, Head of Claims & Special Risks for Oceania, Asia Pacific & Africa, India & Middle East 

David Lloyd manages the Claims and Special Risks teams both here in Australia and remotely throughout the Asia Pacific region. Based in Sydney, David has a Master’s Degree in Financial Management from the University of Glamorgan, United Kingdom. David has over 25 years’ experience in the Trade Credit Insurance industry and has occupied senior management roles in Risk Underwriting, Special Risks Underwriting, Recoveries and Claims for the Oceania and Asia Pacific, and has recently taken on responsibility for Africa, India and Middle East. Special Risks relates to “Higher Risk” corporates and recoveries so his expertise in the corporate analysis, debt recovery and insurance law is certainly beneficial.

Hannah Walters Hannah Walters

Hannah Walters, Head of Risk Oceania

Hannah Walters manages the Risk Underwriting Team in Australia; remotely managing those in Perth and Brisbane.  Hannah is responsible for managing the Loss ratio across the Oceania Region as well as ensuring the Risk Team balances an “Enabling Trade and Managing Risk” approach to their underwriting to meet the ever increasing customer expectations.   Hannah joined Atradius Credit Insurance N.V. in 1997 and has underwritten in both the UK and Australian Markets across a wide range of industries and managed teams in both markets; this brings more than 19 years of Trade Credit Experience.  Hannah is based in Sydney and is a voting member of the Asia Pacific Credit Committee and sits on the Australian Leadership Team; she has a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Finance.

Joe LewisJoe Lewis

Joe Lewis, Joint Head of New Business

Joe has worked in our Business Development & Sales Team for the last 4 years. Prior to that he spent a number of years working within broking roles in the London Market, including more recently with international broker Willis at their global head office.  Whilst working in London, he became a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), and completed a Diploma in Insurance. He also holds a business degree majoring in Business Management & Marketing. Joe returned home to join Atradius in early 2014 to develop a national portfolio of general insurance intermediaries and is also responsible for managing our direct business. Joe has extensive experience in business development, account management and various client facing roles.

Jonathan O'DohertyJonathan O'Doherty

Jonathan O’Doherty, Head of New Business

Jonathan O’Doherty is the Joint Head of New Business, joining Atradius initially in 2005 for three years as a Senior New Business Manager and returning to us in May 2017 in his current role. 

Jonathan completed a post graduate Bachelor of Laws and was admitted to the Law Society of Ireland in 2010 working as a Lawyer for two years before returning to Australia in 2011. 

His approach to customers is energetic and respectful. Jonathan endeavours to work with customers in a considered manner, and understands a Brokers’ perspective having worked as a Broker with Risk Mitigation Solutions for four years.

Mary IbrahimMary Ibrahim

Mary Ibrahim, Head of Client Services & Account Management

Mary Ibrahim heads the Client Services and Account Management team in NSW and QLD and has overall responsibility for Marketing. Mary, who is based in Sydney, has over 25 years’ experience in credit insurance. She graduated from Sydney University with an Economics Degree and Macquarie University with a Master’s Degree in Economics and International Finance.  Prior to this Mary worked at the Export Finance & Insurance Corporation (EFIC) responsible for various roles in the credit insurance business and has travelled extensively around the world researching buyers, industries and meeting with them as well as banks and government officials.  She moved to Atradius following the divestment of the EFIC business in 2003, working all areas of the credit insurance business and is Chair of the APAC Trade Sector Committee.  She is very passionate about great Customer Service and staff development.

Rupa JagannathanRupa Jagannathan

Rupa Jagannathan, Head of Client Services 

Rupa Jagannathan heads the Client Services team in VIC, SA, TAS, WA and New Zealand. Rupa began her credit insurance career with Atradius in New Zealand in early 2007. Prior to this Rupa had extensive banking experience within both Retail and Business Banking with HSBC and Westpac. Rupa managed the existing client base in New Zealand and was responsible for business development and broker relationships in NZ before moving to Melbourne in late 2011 to take up a Senior Account Management role. Rupa’s field of expertise includes Relationship Management, Risk Management, Policy Underwriting, Staff development and coaching. Rupa, who is based in Melbourne, is a highly driven professional and is solutions focussed. Rupa holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a qualified Cost Accountant.

Alfredo RaimondoAlfredo Raimondo

Alfredo Raimondo, Senior Account Manager

Alfredo is the Senior Global Account Manager for the Atradius Global & Asia department. Based in Sydney, he is responsible for multinational businesses in Australia and New Zealand. He joined Atradius Global in 2004 operating out of our office in Italy before moving to Australia in 2013. Alfredo has over 15 years experience working with multinational businesses. He is dedicated to helping top tier companies bring the world new and exciting products and services, navigating variables like global fluctuations in trade, legislation, language and cultural differences. 

Anthony Rasera Anthony Rasera

Anthony Rasera, Regional Human Resources Manager, Asia Pacific 

Anthony Rasera manages Human Resources for the Asia Pacific, India and Dubai region. Anthony holds a Labour Economics degree from the University of Wollongong. Anthony has worked in Human Resources for over 20 years within a number of different  industry sectors. He has spent time working in Europe, Hong Kong and Singapore. Anthony commenced with Atradius in May 2010 and is based in Sydney. His responsibilities extend to over 10 countries and 220 employees. Anthony sits on the Atradius Leadership Team.
